Aside from the naturally-occurring sugars in the fruits, we add the sugar substitute erythritol. Erythritol is a naturally occurring sugar alcohol which is counted as a carbohydrate in the nutrition label. Erythritol, as a sugar alcohol, does not affect blood sugar, making it suitable for a low-carb and low-sugar diet.
